Expression of Love

To express my love, I was afraid
Their judgment hung over my head
To dismiss it all is what they said
It is nothing but a child's game
Have fun, but encrust thy heart in lead
And keep playing with no aim
Thus, from shouting these feelings I have refrained
But it is time for me to take the reins
I must express the present truth, my love
Or a coward remain.
