An Exquisite Gal and Nature

If one laid on a prairie at night, they would experience the world and become awestruck

Under the moonlight they’d feel a cool breeze, and see lustrous stars pass by.

But this was only for the average person, for i was in luck,

Because of this one gal, who always left me mesmerized.

I saw and understood the universe in one second as she passed by admirably and I gazed.

I saw galaxies, stars twinkle,

Her existence baffled me in that one second, for many days.

A supernova, spark from rocks colliding, solar flare, lightning,

All flawless natural bursts of light.

But I would scrutinize them to prove they do not approach the beauty of your dazzling smile.

Crisp leaves, and soothing oceans were created to excel in allure,

but none brought forth the sensation of adoration as you did.

Aphrodite herself would be astonished by the exquisiteness you portrayed.

I am aware I exert tautology often,

but I do so to recognize the infinite progression of your appearance day by day.

I acknowledge the Earth daily for it being precious,

my breath is taken away by all things of nature,

the Grand Canyon, Redwood Forest, the gorgeous Niagara Falls.

Just imagine what you do to me, since you, by far, exceed them all.

You deserve to be boasted.

A gardener would wish for your flawless appearance in his roses.

Your smile outshined the sun on its most gruesome day.

Before you, my life was a newspaper of plain black and white,

And now, because of you, I experience rainbows, even through the darkness at night.

Though your attention was not towards me when i saw you that afternoon,

mi corazon, my heart, shall remain devoted to you.
