Eyes, Ears, Heart, Mind

Location

To change the world, the world must first observe.

People must envision the consequenses of their actions,

Follow the path from them to the climax, the suffering they cause,

Either for themselves or others.

When they see the pain, the heartache, the sorrow,

They are ready to listen.

They are ready to believe that things can change.

They may be skeptical, but their attention is focused.

This is the time to appeal to their humanity,

To let them know that they are meant for something greater.

Meant for more than causing hurt, meant for healing the hurt they cause.

They will remember what they've been taught and maybe,

just maybe,

They will keep that teaching.

I want people to learn to open their eyes,

That they can open the rest.
