There's a side of me 

I can't let them see,

so I cover it up with makeup.

There's a habit I have

that doesn't seem bad,

when covered up with makeup.

The powder is thick

so it does the trick

but when they get close up.

They will see that I'm not me, 

when covered up with makeup.
