A Failure To Act

Who taught us to only try

when we are sure we will succeed?

He is a blackened soul, who would

rather watch war than bleed.

From a world with constant success

but afraid to break the glass;

a world where revolution and discovery

never came to pass.

While fear of failure

is in many ways a curse.

Moving forward without attempt

sacrifices something much worse.
