Fall

The leaves are changing,

The seasons are rearranging.

The Summer is leaving,

The kids are grieving.

Time for sweaters,

and more chilly weather.

Hot coffee or hot chocolate in hand,

saying goodbye to the beach and the sand.

Time for Thanksgiving and Halloween,

And the other fall holidays in between.

Time for pumpkin spice and pumpkin pie,

Time for beauitful pink and orange skies.

Pumpkin picking and candles burning,

The best season is here, so stop the yearning.

Time for family, friends and football,

And all of the other wonderful things that come with Fall!

Our world

So lovely, innocent and pleasant.  It reminds me of a Charlie Brown cartoon about Halloween.                          JF
