Family, My Only Need

My family is my life,

My reason for existence,

The reason I want to strive and achieve,

I could do without food or water,

or the little necessities,

but the love and kindness,

encouragement and much more,

does much more than physical needs,

I have learned to be me,

I have learned to please,

from them, I have learned what no one else can teach me,

and without them, I would die,

a slow and sad death,

for my family, I'll never forget.
