In a far away land

                           When this silent night descends alone...in a faraway land;

                            my mind takes this lonely road back to you.

                                               Even if you miss me, I know you will meet me.

                                               On the other side of love,...in my dreams tonight.

                             But whispers of the evening breeze remind me...that I am in a foreign place

                              And I feel I miss you... so long.

                              Until then, you are always in my heart.

              No wonder when my words can't reach you...I put them into writing.

              Hoping they will carry us through...no matter how long it takes.

                               Now I find myself staring into the gathering dusk...

                                knowing that you do the same.

                                           When at last I realize that I am in a faraway land,

                                            I close my eyes and softly sigh;

                                            Knowing that in God we rest secure.
