Far Away From Where I Was

Life before seems foreign!

A tender touch from a mother,

a kind word from a father.

A carefree personality.

No worries

I ran through the the early feilds of spring

Without a fear

Laughing around the dinner table,

a Sparkle in each of our eyes.

How harsh a fall I have taken!

No tender touch from a mother,

rare kind words from a father.

An axious personality.

So many worries

Starring at the early feilds of spring

from behind iron bars

Crying on the concrete,

the Sparkle in my eyes betrays me.
