Fear

Dear Fear,

Why do you plague me like you do?

You always manage to hold me back.

Now it's time to get a new view and say goodbye to you,

I'm putting you away like a blouse on a rack.

Fear, what kind of friend makes the other constantly worry?

You always make me uneasy with thoughts of going too far.

No longer can I keep you in my life, I must scurry.

I am cutting you out of my mind as of now, so Au Revoir.

You constantly hinder me in school and sports.

Just when I feel improvement, you make it all worse.

You frustrate me in many sorts.

But now, I can be free because I sent you away in the black hearse.

Good Riddance,

Your Ex-Friend
