Fear

Fear

It's the ringing reminder in your ear

A thought that something bad is near

A thought that makes your judgement unclear.

Fear comes in many forms

Mine's remains inside my head

The nagging worry of social interaction

Makes me dream of staying home instead.

Heart racing

Extremely loud thoughts

Every hour my self confidence keeps fading

My sense of reality is lost.

Fear can be paralyzing

This I know to be true

But with a little help and optimism

I can overcome the dread, anger, and confusion

And so can you.
