Fear chains my mind to

Fear chains my mind to mediocraty.

Fear blockades my mind to the status quo.

Fear rules my mind with idleness.

Thy kingdom collapses under this demonic foe.

Whence anger comes from, out forth regret

And regret tarnishes the mind

For it dwells on what could have been.

But no more, o bleak mind!

When action in faith, of good will, of holiness

What conquers this dreaded state of mind is faith!

Faith in God, faith in myself, faith in love!

What must be done in faith is good work!

Faith soars my mind into the skies!

Faith sheds my weaknesses and empowers me!

Faith teaches that I am capable of wonders!

Whom I take to heart is whom I believe in spirit!
