The Fear of Public Speaking

When I was a kid, I hated speaking in front of people

I used to hide from any opportunity there was to speak

From speaking to a relative or my teacher, I hated doing it

But as I got older, I started to realize that public speaking was important for anything you wanted to do

So, I gathered up some courage and I decided to use my voice

I overcame my fear of public speaking by joining different clubs at my school

They helped and taught me that speaking in public shouldn’t be anything to be afraid of

So I worked hard and I overcame my fear and I learned to be a better public speaker

Now, I can talk to you about almost anything and be perfectly okay with it

Public speaking, who’d have thunk it?
