The Feminist Slam

Modern madness mashes with my malten mind,

How did we find these pictures in which we confide?

Give me love,

Not lessons where you lied.

No wonder our children cower and hide.

Don't blame society because that is what we are.

When Daddy told you you could only go so far.

Mommy,

Tell me when did you succumb to sub-par?

All I want in my life is to bust out of that jar.

So don't tell me that I'm nothing until I'm airbrushed.

Nair-brushed,

'Cause I know Momma raised a robust woman.

I'm not going to fit into that old school bust

And I'm not trying to adjust.
