FENRIR: Lyrical Lycanthropic Legend

Though legends of old

Are filled with tall tales

So many are cold

Dead in their graves

Yet one lives on

Through tales of war

A werewolf proud

Of the name Fenrir

Day in and day out

Bound close with a chain

Magic restricted

Though used for others’ gain

Fenrir does not weep

Though at moonrise he howls

Trapped guarding a Prince

Whose songs reflect his calls

In exchange for his music

For his melancholy songs

Prince offered him the sun

For Fenrir to right wrongs

Though Prince is gone

Fenrir still sings

Hoping that one day

Ragnarok he’ll bring

His own agent

Believes Fen a fool

That one day he’ll challenge Odin

In a musical duel

Fenrir doesn’t care

Bites at night 'gainst his chain

Singing that someday

Over chaos he’ll reign

You may think me a liar

My legend just a tale

But Fenrir’s music

Will win without fail

He’s a powerful force

In the wide music scene

No doubt he’ll make Ragnarok

A musical dream
