Finding what's lost

Fri, 10/28/2016 - 14:10 -- B-shep

A young child

Frail yet strong

Lost in a world so wild

Wishing to belong

Emotion long sense lost

He'd become steel but at what cost

Others asked for help

But his sympathy was tossed

The one he loved ran away

He called for her but had nothing to say

Eyes now open to the world

His fists uncurled

He now seeks her heart

Hoping for a new start.
