First Person Shooter

Now eighty hours in, and not one loss-

The end has come, to defeat the final boss.

Moving, fast paced, dodging strategically-

Wait for your moment, to flank your enemy.

You are wise and strong, but he is bigger-

Must find his weakness, and pull the trigger.

You’ve come this far, ready to conquer all-

Ready to finish him, to make him fall.

A long struggle of wits, wary and tense-

It’s his move, your move; a battle sequence.

No more moves left, and ammo running low-

Brace for fate, and he will strike the last blow.

Your vision goes dark, you are at the end-

“Game Over- would you like to play again?”
