Fitting In

Conforming, following the example set by your peers.

Assimilate, DAWES, the norm.

How is something so expected of the young adolescent so bad to actually do?

You get accused of: copying, faking, being one dimensional.

When in all reality you just want to blend into all the vibrant colors on the canvas.

And when you stand out, be who you want, and rebel,

You become socially shunned.

You watch as others add their brilliant shades of vibrant  paint to the collabrotive work of art,

And dream you could be like them.
