The system is flawed

and I follow it just like all the rest.

Going for grades by law

and earning A’s to be the best.

However learning has been lost

and few care to change it.

Students look to beat the tests no matter the cost

and the school do not even throw a fit.

Academics should be about self-learning

with teachers simplifying being guides.

Giving students a yearning

for a feeling filed with pride.

Promoting them to seek higher mountains

with even greater rewards.

Creating a generation with knowledge flowing like a fountain

and giving them wings to soar.
