I am the image of perfection

I brandish femininity with pride

I hold my love and my hope like a weapon

To frighten anyone who would question my beauty;

Skinny arms and stubby legs

Stretch marks

Beauty marks

Small smiles with chapped lips

I don’t have to be tough to make it

I’m the queen of big cozy vintage sweaters, of hair bows and polka dots, pink nails and stuffed animals.

My crown is made out of daisies, but don’t let that fool you; it doesn’t need thorns to poison.
