Flawless; Because I Am Me

Flawless

Is that a thing?

When I look down I see a disproportioned girl

When I look in the mirror I see an unsatisfied girl

When I look into my eyes, I see an empty, sad, and lonely girl.

I turn away

But when I look back

I no longer see the bitter eyes.

I see the girl loving her curves, whether she's small, big, or round

I see a girl working towards her goals, not willing to settle for less.

Her eyes are no longer void, but filled with determination, filled with love, and with pride.

Flawless you say?

Yes that is me,

The girl with all the flaws and all

Who pushes through the scars

To become the me I always wanted to be.
