Forbidden

I remember when we hug each other
I made an oath to you that was hidden
In these few years I became a mother
I broken this oath it was forbidden

We made a beautiful child and so strong
We fought battles for so long yet we died
Can we make this reality last long
Now I finally see how I had lied

Our daughter a soldier is beautiful
If she keeps going always will have pride
And her future is bright and wonderful
As her guardian angels by her side

We made history and so did she too
If we can make a difference so can you

This was how I made a character that made a forbidden rule to not be a parent but a solider for her loved one. And knowing what they been through can make something greater for their future as parents evening breaking this rule. This is a sonnet that i made during class.
