Forgotten Holiday

A pattern of ridges glow under the ray of morning
and over them all resides the wieghtless fire
Pure without the taint of earth and quite unknown
These boundaries are given

Warm life dwelling the misty southland
spread wide in the valley and settle
The day has been appreciated
The stars long hidden under brightness
broke through and shone all over the darkened heaven
A golden land vanquished
as shadowy night visits the mountainsides

The tender grass was brushed
when his eyes finally viewed a privledge
Though eager with fleet pace he feared he was late
In a trees great embrace was a message in place
As he read losing faith he could hardly give chase
Farewell my dear love no words would be safe

The crescent moon filled the sky
as nine times nine tears kissed the empty valleys' vines
as she returns home
