Forgotton: A Tribute to the Nameless

There are some whom light avoids.

They are those whom speak not a word.

Their beings left unseen, unloved

And unspoken.

Seemingly trapped in a void.

Misfortune plagues them.

Born to lost causes,

And raised just so,

Their lives become guided

By their mistreated souls.

They grow into creatures

Human in form and orb.

But they themselves are neglected

By all others who are whole,

And those who follow the same flow.

Ostracized by nature, they wonder,

They ponder, where is their being?

Why are they living? For whom?

Such measly thoughts define

Their forgotten names and lives.
