That of a fox

Lying still, fur marred with dirt

I lie lost in the land destroyed by wind

The ground lay still now

Leaving behind remnants of a once loved town

My heart lay still

The world turns on

People walk over

Cleaning out the ruble around

Leaving me no second glance

My body lay

Sitting still, cold on the earth

Humans clear out

My body decaying

No memories to know one by

Just a body to be walked over

Just a body

One to be discarded

One of a fox

With no more breathe to breath
