Frail Fleur

Tue, 10/15/2013 - 13:50 -- Severia

Location

This flower, so seemingly frail yet so brilliantly red, her petals are frayed and yet her stem holds fast to the unyielding concrete she strives to grow from.

From the coarse ocean of grey she bursts through and shines bright like the moon on a clear night, striving for the life-giving sunlight, fighting for her mere existence.

You may pass by without a second thought, you may think she's obsolete,

But indeed,

She is a rose from concrete.
