I don't need a degree in philosophy to know that I am Socrates.
I don't need a degree in anthropology to know that I am a human Being.

I'll make my degree in business to question:
Who's green money is this?

My love is the man.
My love makes demands.
My love puts money in my hand.
He can't give me happiness,
but he can sure pave his path with gold glittery silver tongues
whisper wonders in my ears
and diamonds in the sky dripping on my neck like tears.

But on their face and in there eyes
I know that I have lived their lives
And I've seen these things a thousand times

Some days I question if I've had too many lines.

But it's everywhere, dont you hear?
There's nothing more to fear.

I don't need a degree in poetry to know that I am free
