Garden

Location

I figured out that maybe I actually like the rain.

Since I was your soil and needed light and water to survive, I wanted rain.

They planted your seed in my rich soil to grow.

It’s been three years and you haven’t blossomed yet.

Why?

Because Michigan has more winters than summers and when it gets cold you disappear.

You die and forget that you needed my rich soil to survive but I realized I die in the winter too.

The cold weather causes us to both disappear from each other and only hope we come back again in the spring.

What if there is no rain?

What if there is no sun?

Our garden will amount to nothing.

Our garden will amount to nothing.

Our garden will amount to nothing.

Our garden was nothing.
