Getting by

Psalm 32:2

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity,
And in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Psalm 34:13 New King James Version (NKJV)

13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.

Break the law of man and you are a perpetrator

Break the law of God and you are a worldly hero

So do all you can and be a civilized instigator

And present the truth of God in a chill close to zero

Call a spade a spade … but do it oh so gently

Make sure within that you won’t offend any

If you arrive too late make sure to be friendly

About the might have been as you sell it for a penny

To protect the guilty we need many lawyers

To protect the innocent we are in need of Christ

To find plenty of guile we need politicians

And for the hypocrites just a pack lies

For a mighty headache we need plenty of Bayer

For forgiveness we surely need Christ

However most will turn to some artesian

Who will lead you just enough to get by
