A Girl

A girl
Just as good as she could be
Young and effortless and free
Roams around her backyard gate
Where she bumps into a boy called Nate
The boy had cooties
So the girl runs
Back home to enjoy the rest of her fun

A girl
Just as smart as she could be
Scores A's on every exam never less than a B
She roams the hall
Quickly headed for class
When she bumps into Nate
No longer has cooties, but is sort of a jackass
Their eyes connect
But you see she is shy
She mutters an apology as she rushes by

A girl
Just as pretty as she could be
Smiles at her reflection just before she leaves
She walks down the stairs to connect with her date
Five years later she is dating Nate
Nate doesnt enter
He stays in the car
He doesnt have a job
But he has money by far
They drive around
Music blasting
She hopes this night is ever lasting

A girl
Just as careless as she could be
Sneaks out the house
In the morning at 3
She kisses her boyfriend
He kisses her back
They rush to the car
Who knows where they're off
But the only thing the girl thinks
Is she is in love

A girl
Just as cold as she could be
Cries in pain
As she lays on the ground
Empty
She was with Nate
Just last night
Until something went BANG
Giving her a fright
She was hit
With something hard
When she looked up
She saw a fist
Nate led her on
He didnt love her
Last night he got what he wanted
Then he moved along and left her

A girl
Just as alone as she could be
Heart is broken
As you can see
She now has nothing along with nobody
She gave them all up for Nate
Who abused her body
Now she pushes men away
Learning her lesson
That all men are dogs
With only one mission
