The Globe

Thu, 02/26/2015 - 01:14 -- Em-Em

There I saw the world

As my fingers made it twirled.

Round and round it goes

And with a single poke, it halts.

I could travel with my fingers

While my globe twists and turns.

But, travelling won't be the same

If I were really there,

With my feet glued to the earth.

But I will not worry. Not a hint

Maybe someday, God will lend me

A boat or a plane

Just to show me

What the world really is:

That my beloved planet

Is not solely made of plastic

Not like my globe

Whom I always keep.

This poem is about:
Me
My community
My country
Our world
