A Good Black Man (This poem was for my dad when he died)

A Good Black Man
Our old memories of you
Fly by us fast
And everything we
REMEMBER of u is now in the past
You once told my mommy
If you work she wouldnt
HAVE to work again
A good black man
He was in everyones eyes
A handsome,strong, and intellgent
A Good Black Man
But know he is gone
However,not forgotten
IS time for u to rest in peace
YOU done your job on Earth
Or should I now say Gods, Beautiful Black Angel
