Two score and eight years ago stood a great man
250,000 strong holding his hand
His words set fires
But not out of rage
Millions of inspired souls kindled the blaze
March forward he said
Do not despair
Believe in the creed
The good Doctor declared
The dream that he died for
He then shouted out loud
An equal America
Let freedom resound
