I’m religious, missing church to do homework.

I’m curious, not researching things because I have “too much else to do.”

I’m funny, not telling my jokes for fear of not getting a laugh.

I’m outgoing, keeping important feelings inside.

I’m happy, constantly upset at someone for something.

I love people, sticking to my group of friends.

I am energetic, getting less than 4 hours of sleep per night.

Who doesn’t love a good façade?

I don’t.

This is getting kinda tiresome, and I really would like to be me without fear.

Funny world isn’t it?

Endorse students, preventing them from pursuing their dreams.

Endorse the arts, not paying the artists.

Endorse writers, giving more to the publisher than the writer themselves.

Endorse nationalism, not giving everyone an equal chance at success.

Endorse anti-violence, doing nothing to prevent gun-violence.

Endorse individuality, preventing many from having their voice heard.

Funny world isn’t it? Talk about idealism to gain support, without supporting your idealism.
