The Grand Year

Hard work a discipline

Working towards a goal.

State shoots January through July

For the world championships on August.

Friends and family supporting me,

Sponsorships and grandma funding me.

I will make them proud

And do my best no matter what.

A hundred degrees and humid,

Through rivers of sweat I prevail.

From sunrise to sunset,

I shoot for the stars.

Wanting to be on top and win it all.

By the end I've won.

Double A 27 double A,

Best of them all.

2,523 out of 2,600 to win,

I had a goal,

I had a mission,

I had to win.

I achieved my goal,

Finished my mission,

I won.
