You were far more than just my grandmother
The stories you told kept me up all night
You spoke to me like you were my mother
I will remember you when I recite

I see your hair glowing in the moonlight
The scent of you reminded me of home
I saw you roam around the house as a sprite
As you draw your last breath I saw the dome

Alas happiness must come to an end
My life is not worth living without you
But like the masses I must learn to mend
Because of you I will always be blue

You are the supreme, mother of the world
I will remember my time with you curled
