Graveyard's Crave

Wed, 10/02/2013 - 22:58 -- a.lee1

When death bells toll

And a soul flees the earth

Cries are released to the skies

Lilies given to the tearful

The earth opens its maw,

Craving the rotting of dreams

Last regrets are announced

Goodbyes are said

Then the black riders pass

And lower their charge

The ground devours it whole,

Macabre appetite sated for a night

Only to grow hungry

Once again
