Greet Me, Please

Location

I would change the way we treat eachother,

The way we DON'T acknowledge one another.

I was on a hike with my family the other day

We passed maybe 200 people

"Hello" "hi" "how are you?" not ONE of them did say.

Man, we are on a narrow path,

Our shoulders just brushed

How can you walk by me and not give a fuck!?

Acknowledge me as a human, PLEASE

How do you walk by me and not recognize that I live and BREATH.

Life is TOO beautiful.

With friends and STRANGERS we've got to share

We are the only ones here,

Do you simply not care?

Change the way we DON'T smile at eachother,

Open your heart, treat the WORLD like your brother.
