A Grin and a Mad Idea

Falling deeper into the pit,

ever darker than you expected,

tumbling down faster than before,

there's a light at the end of this rabbit hole.

Don't be surprised that you've come to realize

that everything you have ever dreamed of,

everything that you have ever wanted,

can all be accomplished and gained with only

a grin and a mad idea.

Lost and scared, no where to go,

with a wisp of smoke, a Cheshire cat appears.

"Follow me," it says, "I'll take you to a party,

where there is a Doormouse, a Hatter and a Hare.

Come and follow," as it dissappears with a welcoming grin.

Don't be surprised that you've come to realize

that everything you have ever dreamed of,

everything that you have ever wanted,

can all be accomplished and gained with only

a grin and a mad idea.

"We're all mad here," quips the Hatter,

"we're all the same, we're here at a tea party,

the four of us, no one quite sane.

To the Queen you must go,

to follow the rabbit, that way he went, off to the palace."

Don't be surprised that you've come to realize

that everything you have ever dreamed of,

everything that you have ever wanted,

can all be accomplished and gained with only

a grin and a mad idea.

"Off with your head", shouts above you,

"Off with her pretty head", shouts the Queen.

Time to run out of Wonderland and back to home and Dinah,

safe and free from your horribly fantastical dream.

Don't be surprised that you've come to realize

that everything you have ever dreamed of,

everthing that you have ever wanted,

can all be accomplished and gained with only

a grin and a mad idea...

a horribly fantastic mad idea.
