Growing Cold

My mind is in shambles
Oh my dear old friend
Have you come to see me?
Remind me once again?

Why is it that I smile
Why is it that I cry
Why is it I must mourn
Should a loved one die

Shall I really do this
Or shall I just drop out?
How is it I must act
When I see no other route?!

Who is it that holds my heart
Whose is it that I hold
Should I be happy
That my world has grown cold?!

My child's laughter is but a mere
memory
Forever floating upon a reddened sea
No more can I stand this silence
So my dear old friend, please fulfil my
plea
For now, I have decided
