Growing Doubt

Location

I didn’t much worry, I didn’t much care, until I got home and found you not there.

I didn’t freak out, I did not even shout, but I admit your absence, did fill me with some doubt.

I know I shouldn’t worry, I know I shouldn’t fret, but so far your actions, haven’t calmed me yet.

As I sit here waiting, Instead of pacing about, I sit instead in silence, with my head filling with doubt.
