Hear my Laugh

but don't look into my eyes

No one can see me....

They wouldn't understand me.

The way I am

They only see my incredible masks

My intense curtain of all colors

I'm.....Kind

          Exceptional

          Loving

          Smart

          Eccentric

          Yappy

That's who I am

People who see it

            Abuse it

                   Take control of it

And....eventually lose it

So in order to avoid this... I guard it,

                                              and mask it

                                             maybe even color it...to distract from it.

So that only few can enjoy it

So that no one can ruin it.

A few more.....I am weird, silly, sassy, bold, crazy fun, easy going, irritable, reliable, a good friend.... but I guard it.  

I'm GUARDED.
