Habit of Darkness

I know you're there

Lurking and wait to

Seize the opportunity

Then charge and approach

Quickly so that I can

Feel secure in

The darkness and despair

Of your wake

Search my soul and clean

The contents of my heart.

Leave me nothing but

A shell of nothingness

Provide me with comfort

Of your destruction

Use me to fulfill your

Own agenda of

Death.

I wait for

Your arrival and crave

To be once again

A victim of your nightmare.

The raw emotions that most feel but are too ashamed to discus are highlighted and addressed directly.
