Halcyon

Halcyon
Tom Dascole
I still remember April, when our story began
I still remember Boston, how through the streets we ran
I remember each time that truck pulled into my drive
And I remember when it left, I swear each time I died
I remember every adventure, I remember every tear
I remember how I felt when you promised to always be here

I still stare into that box when I get sad
I still sing the song that calms you when you’re mad
I’m still here and never plan to go
Because of you, now loneliness is something I don’t know
I remember, I still do, all the things that ever happened between me and you
I remember, I do.
