Happiness

the feeling of watching a child light up when you walk through the door

singing your favorite song when you're home alone

when there is no wait list of your favorite restaurant and you're with your best friend

getting the bigger half of the wishbone

listening to Frank Sinatra on a calm night  slipping on something you love and having it fit just right getting a call from a childhood friend feeling the butterflies in your stomach flutter as you swing higher on an old rope swing on a tree watching a puppy yawn the feeling you finally have when you finished cleaning better yet, having someone unexpectedly clean for you and finding everything spotless making the first slice into a birthday cake the first time you kiss the one you love getting a text from someone close to you out of nowhere when you need it the most driving with the top down on a sunny day  happiness
