HARMony

Burning, breaking, hurting, taking,

Could we use a little more decision-making

Use your brain more than fire,

Maybe make a plan prior

Causing harm helps no one,

And never was there need for a gun

Yes things may make you angry,

Or even make you cranky

Yes you will have different view points than others,

But on buildings there’s no reason to spray those colors

Yes I disagree with the president too,

But I can control my actions unlike you

On 13th street 217 protesters arrested,

No their actions could not have been contested

283 got away without breaking a sweat,

But they did break many hearts,

And put us in even more debt

All because of Trump's inauguration,

Why couldn’t we just come together as a nation

Harvard is seeing the ridiculous protests too,

They say to make a plan like step one, step two

Let’s use these methods to get stronger,

Not be reckless and make the scene wronger

Don’t be so biased on your opinion,

You’ll look as smart as a little yellow minion

Burning down buildings? That’s classy,

Wait till North Korea see’s that, they’ll see our

Weaknesses and blow us up from here to Tallahassee

So tell me,

What do I do to change how protesters use their power,

yes I am speaking of the filthy cowards,

Why does our country turn to this,

And it’s not because the ideas out there aren’t crisp

Let’s come together and come up with a plan,

And be safe and as smart as we can
