The Healing of a Tone

Wandering through darkness

stress of past, present, and future

carried by her wings of grief

sorrow and sacrifice

she rests on what barely accepts her weight

searching for the sounds of home

desperate to fine inner peace

releasing a tone

not sorrow nor weeping

tones envelope cold dark air

sealing it with love, joy, harmony

ears fish for her sweet sounds

for they dwell in her harmonies--

not realizing the wings of grief

the eyes of worry

releasing a tone

the red bird is happy

her moment of heaven

engulfed by her acoustics

drowning the world around her

the world of over thinking, hopelessness,

pain

lifting her wings of grief

drifting among what wind embraces her

resting ever so often

to release her tone

her why--

to carry on home
