Hear Me Roar

I plaster the same smile on every day,

Hiding the hurt and burying the truth.

I didn't expect anyone to listen,

But you did.

You heard my pains and reality,

And you still adored me through it.

You were mine

And I would've stuck with you to the end.

But then you left me,

Said you adored another.

I was lost and not found

And I was hurt and muted once more.

With a broken heart,

I cried so many silent tears.

I was quiet to my friends

And spoke only in whispers.

But no more,

I have a voice

And I deserve to be heard.

I open my mouth without hestitation,

Ready to scream and cry my heart out

To you for the last time,

And let it all out...

ROAR.
