Heart and Hands

Kind heart wrapped in wire

Guarding the what she holds most dear

Rushed hands bleed from the futile wrenching

The blood painting her heart red

Careful because she hid the gloves in her mind

Surrounded by concrete walls

Arrogant hands scrape from the pathetic asent

The curses spraypainting her walls yellow

A single door into her world

The key kept hidden in her tongue

Enraged hands sting from the failed silence

The growls rotting her door purple

Yet only one can have the key

that leads to the door

Past the concrete wall

To the gloves for the wire

Unwrap the kind heart

That she protects so dearly

A heart painted red to encase her flaws

Created by the wire placed so carefully

Unwrap a gentle gift

A treasure just for you

Beyond the cost of gold, of silver

A flawless diamond of red
