A Heavenly Kiss

Most people say that it is bad for you

That it can cause bad teeth, obesity, and diabetes too.

But some dont understand the joys that they give,

The happiness, delight and jubilation to release all fears.

How do we know these statements to be true?

Well, wasn't there a time you indulged in a piece of chocolate or two?

It is easy to become obsessed or addicted as they say,

Comparable to European Opium, but in the modern day.

But dont be discouraged by their many faults,

For a single taste can unlock the secrets in their hidden vaults.

Like a bolt,

It strikes you,

Ignites You,

Setting your taste buds aflame.

This elation before justation is bliss,

A heavenly kiss,

Hersheys,

Just like all the many candies in the world,

Show no mercy,

Turns you topsy-turvy.

Lost in a state full of wonder that will not be unwelcomed,

Where even a lifesaver worth a thousand flavors,

Cannot break a person free,

From this everlasting hold known as sweets.
